THE BROTHERHOOD OF ST. ANDREW – St. Gabriel’s Chapter # 2039S

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a worldwide ministry to men and boys in the Anglican Communion. The mission of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew is to disciple men and boys unto a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through the lifelong disciplines of daily prayer, regular study and committed service. Members are called Brothers Andrew. Female members are called Associates. All members are required to accept and observe the Brotherhood disciplines of Prayer, Study and Service.

Discipline of Prayer

To pray daily for the spread of Christ's kingdom, especially among men and youth, and for God's blessings upon the labors of the Brotherhood.

Discipline of Study

To study the Holy Scriptures regularly and the teachings of the Church, to attain a better understanding of how to follow Christ and bring others into his kingdom.

Discipline of Service

To make continuous efforts, week by week, to bring others nearer to Christ through his Church.

The St. Gabriel’s chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Our Membership count is 30 as of December 2020.

Our current officers are:

The St. Gabriel’s Chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew continues to be a vibrant body. Currently, there are approximately nineteen active members along with three associates.

This Chapter has been relatively active in conjunction with other Chapters that comprise the Brooklyn Assembly, in assisting with the feeding of the needy and distribution of clothing at some of the shelters in Brooklyn.

At this time, we are looking to invite young men age 18 and up to come and visit with us at our meetings which are held every 3rd. Sunday of the month.
